About the Founder

Working across education, healthcare, public impact, and organisational learning, we design workshops, conversations, and capacity-building programmes that help people communicate more openly, navigate difference, and make sense of what’s in front of them. Our work rests on a simple belief: people thrive not by setting aside who they are, but by developing the awareness, language, and skills to take part more fully in the world around them.

Morninglab was founded by Tan Jia Yee, whose approach draws on a background in economics, political economy, advocacy, and systems research, alongside experience in regional corporate leadership, public engagement, and board governance. She is a Certified CQ Trainer-Facilitator with the Cultural Intelligence Center (USA).
